Certificate II in Construction

The Certificate II in Construction offers a range of potential occupational outcomes for individuals wishing to work in supporting roles on various construction sites, including that of builder's labourer. Some of the core competency units in the Certificate II in Construction are required in the majority of Certificate III qualifications, and elective options are aligned with level III Certificates. Combined, the units may provide meaningful credit towrds an Australian Apprenticeship. All construction-based skills recognition training and assessments must ideally be undertaken in environment, real workplace or at closely simulated environment. All competency units in this qualification are to be delivered according to those requirements. In order to ensure that all outcomes are met, an extended period of work placement is advisable.
